ADVOCATING FOR BETTER WAYS TO WORK
ABOUT ME
“Education is the kindling of a flame, not the filling of a vessel.” ― Socrates
I am constantly wondering: How can we do this better?
In the last decade, I have dedicated my research and training to helping others become better leaders and negotiators in order to effectively shape and improve their personal and professional lives.
Originally from Western New York, I moved in 2012 to Munich, Germany - sight unseen. In 2020, I took a position at the University of Amsterdam, Amsterdam Business School. Now, I have joined the Kühne Logistics University as an Academic Director of Executive Education and Professor of Management.
When I am not busy with research on negotiation, leadership or diversity, I am holding negotiation training and leadership development workshops. I really enjoy the creative process that comes with planning new training and working with new groups. If you would like to collaborate, please reach out!
I really enjoy working with all types of audiences, from working professionals to undergraduate students. It was a happy surprise in 2019, when, while working as an Assistant Professor at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (University of Munich) in the Munich School of Management, I was awarded a Teaching Award in 2019 by my students.
In spite of - or perhaps because of! - the pandemic, I have been able to innovate and integrate digital learning tools to improve learning experience. And even honed my video making skills. To see what I mean, take a look at this video on networking:
